Society dictates that we become an adult at age 18, with minimal training or coaching on how to become mature, contributing members of society. Our association attracts outstanding management, coaches, mentors (Retired Athletes) and trainers to provide our members with the proper and necessary guidance, leadership, and spiritual development. This will enable them to take charge of their lives, while preparing them to live responsibly by becoming productive, contributing members of society. After all, membership in our organization will have its privileges!!
Primary role ~ offer suggestions that will contribute to short & long-term social and professional development [not advice].
Secondary role ~ guide and direct mentee to others who may provide helpful resources, tools and support.
Mentors ~ have walked the path of the mentee and may share knowledge and experiences as a guide for personal / professional development.
Mentors ~ Should never feel that they have to fulfill all the needs of a mentee.
